Sep. 27th, 2010 05:15 pmSummer's comin' to a close and none are lookin' forward to it. Plants have stopped yielding, we're double-checking our stock for the winter, and in about a week we'll start eating rations. One thing I can say I'll be grateful for, though, is that we'll all be too busy making ends meet to be bored, and when we aren't bored, there'll be fewer conversations to be left out of.
Call it a moment of weakness but I don't know if I'd rather be here or there. Ignored for jeopardizin' our way of life, or harassed for answers I don't have.
Better than death, anyhow.
